In the film state, these materials exhibited photoluminescence (PL) maxima at 443 nm and 444 nm, and their respective PL quantum yields (PLQY) were 52 % for DBFPA and 54 % for DBFtPA, demonstrating their suitability for blue OLED applications due to their wide band gaps. OLED devices were fabricated using N1,N6-bis(5-(tert-butyl)-2-methylphenyl)-N1,N6-bis(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-pyrene-1,6-diamine (3Me-1Bu-TPPDA) as a dopant, and all devices with DBFPA and DBFtPA as host materials achieved enhanced external quantum efficiencies (EQE) of 7.15 % and 7.26 %, respectively. Particularly, DBFtPA demonstrated outstanding electroluminescence (EL) performance, achieving a current efficiency (CE) of 8.83 cd/A and Commission Internationale de l’Éclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.13, 0.12), highlighting its potential for superior brightness and color quality in OLED applications.
